Quick question. What is the best way to scan comics if your looking to post them here? I scanned this and increased the size by 50% Should i have done it smaller Bigger or left it alone? Thanks for any help! (thumbs u

I scan at 150 dpi and then reduce it to 700 pixels across. That is about the actual size of a standard comic.

Tough to say with the smallish scan.

 

the FC looks very nice and might pull a 9.0 or so with minor creases/nicks.

 

The BC is another story, however. that crescent mark on the upper portion, the ink smudging all over the drawing of the hypnotist and his subject, those numerous little thumbnail markings all over the bottom protion of the cover and the different shades of white along the bottom edge, will all pull down the grade.

Resolution appears to be OK, like SG I scan at 150 DPI and adjust width to 3.5" without any compression. File size runs anywhere from 500kb to 900kb depending on source detail and color.

 

Your scans are a tad small.
