Fund Raiser for Rick (Speedjunkies)... Let's call it a over at $420... Nice Job!

135 posts in this topic

Which strip club are you going to spend the money at? You'll actually be donating the money to the girls there, and it's definitely a good cause for you!

ROFL I actually don't enjoy going to strip joints. I have gone 2 times for B-days and I always feel raped when I am on my way home. "Man did I spend that much? Boy do I have blue balls..." 27_laughing.gif

Have you seen Blue Balls on The Man Show yet?

Quoted from Silver Comics Thread:

Update:

The more that Bruce and I have corresponded...the more it seems that Fred is innocent and was a sheep in a wolf's clothing. frown.gif I was going to let it ride, but the private auction was killing my conscience since I did not want some poor ol' [!@#%^&^] to win the item and lose close to $4000...and so I bid. I apologize to Fred and will reimburse him if ebay doesn't refund him his FVF's in time as well. Hopefully we can chat so that he can hear a "I'm sorry" from me personally. I find it funny how his auction had almost every single red flag going leading to the conclusion of it being a scam, but yet it wasn't 893frustrated.gif This is the first time that I was wrong about a "scam" auction and will learn from it.

Now on to my ebay fees. frown.gif I missed the boat on filing for my FVF's since I was invoiced before I can even file for my refund so ebay is going to charge my credit card in a few days and I will not be credited until after this has been done. Who needs close to $200 credit with them? GRRRRR

Message to Rob Z:

"Can we all just get along?" grin.gif I appreciate the support Rob, but Bruce is a good man and never had any intention of wrong doing on his part. I think after this ordeal, Bruce and I have become better friends. tongue.gif

Here are some comments that I have saved on my computer to remind me of all of the great people we have here on the forum. Thanks to all of you who made my week better after starting off so badly with the death of my pet and having over $5000 of merchandise popped on ebay

-Subject: Blow Job

-A small thank you for what you're doing for the hobby. Hope you keep it up.

-Subject: Thanks…

Note: Just because...

-Hey Ricky...here is the "donation" that I had promised you in the CGC forums...thanks for being the "Vigilante Dachshund" and good luck on the eBay fiasco...

-Rick,

Thank you for your tireless devotion to exposing scams, frauds, and cheats. The past week has been difficult for you, but we all appreciate your efforts. I have a dog also, so I know how much they impact our lives. Enjoy this gratitude windfall from your friends at the CGC forums.

-Good Luck with ebay! Keep up the Good Work!

-Good Luck in all future scam-busting!

-Hey Rick - Sorry about all the recent troubles. I hope the forum money helps you out on your auctions. Very sorry too about your dog; that's a big loss. Best wishes…

-Keep up the good work, Rick!

-Keep at em! My "(edited for privacy)" ID is still good and you wouldn't believe how many e-mails I get asking me what my user name means when I bid on scam auctions. Some people just don't want to be warned I guess.

-Scam-busting, [!@#%^&^]-kicking donation...

-Hi Ricky,

Here's the $5 I agreed to donate to you. Keep up the good work man!

-Hi Rick,

Hope this helps out with your situation.

-Here you go Rick! Don't spend it all in one place. laugh.gif Sorry about your eBay fees. That sux.

-Keep up the good work!

-Thanks Rick to a great guy!

-I hope this helps out your BIN fee troubles. Glad to do it. You've been very helpful flushing out these scammers.

-Keep up the good work

-Subject: Scambusters Inc

Note: Now don't get nailed again! Sorry about your pet pooch...

Hmm... I was still in Washington, DC on vacation when this all played out initially and I must have missed this thread. (Mayflower Renaissance hotel doesn't have broadband internet access.)

If you're still out of pocket, let me know and I'd be glad to help out.

Thanks.

This just in 893applaud-thumb.gif

Wassup, Ricky?

Just wanted to drop you a line and let you know I was sorry to hear about

your dog and was glad to see the forum pull together to help you out.

And I don't think you should feel bad if this guy turns out to be legit.

It was an honest mistake, and like you said, all the red flags were there

to indicate this guy was trying to rip people off. You do far more good

by exposing the real scammers so don't let this discourage you. In fact,

if they guy would call and talk to you or Bruce, he could make a ton more

money by having one of you clue him in on eBay.
