Anyone read Scalped?

What a great book. This is one of my favorite comics at the moment. Thus far the story has been well paced,gripping,and pretty airtight. The story is set on a Native American reservation in the process of "change". The heroes are hard to distinguish from the villains which is pretty realistic in my opinion. The first two TPB's are out.

I got the first issue, and while I felt it was a quality book and could turn into something pretty good, it just didn't grab me. Seems like a slow-week trade for me.

There have been a couple threads on this book. Probably one of my favorite books out right now.

 

Helio, #1 was a bit cliche. But it gets much better and has a lot of historical roots. Personally, the second volume was equally as good (maybe better). Loved the perspectives.

That is when I bought the trade actually. Thank goodness for slow weeks.
