Thanks. Yes it is Everett inking his own pencils (which, on this page, were apparently very loose pencils in non-repro blue.) There is a real sense in these later Subby issues he did, that he was having fun. I'm not sure if he started using his "black water" technique for underwater scenes before the final Sub Mariner run that started with issue 50, but that was when I started noticing it. Back in the day, it made a fan out of me.

When I started collecting comics again in the early 90s, I started looking for Everett art from this period. I looked for years with no luck. Now, this year, I've found two. I guess it's living right.
