I hated date stamps when I first started collecting 25 years ago because I wanted an unblemished cover as the publisher intended

 

Now as I get older and wiser, I LOVE date stamps - its part of the charm to imagine it in the soda shop, drugstore, or whever it was bought

I would say 7.0, but CGC again IMO tends to be a tad lenient on the JIMs maybe because they see so few of them in HG so VF is not out of the realm of possibility. I just think the lighter cover conceals the spine wear, though the rest looks clear, maybe a beginning faint dust shadow on the back cover (could be the scan) - I can see home some here feel 7.5.

 

Having looked again, I really like the QP of this book something that is notoriously off in the JIMs. I may be an advocate of the 8.0 crowd yet.
