What color matte would you use for this piece?

I was thinking orange, but am not sure. What would you guys suggest?

something that won't contrast with your wall paint.

maybe a black with a thin orange border.

Maybe gun metal grey to match the chains.

I would look at turqouise to match the bramble/leaves on the left arm. Possibly a pale peach to match the flesh tones. Grey or dark brown would be more conservative choices if you need to match other colors in your room. I would avoid orange as I think it will compete with the image.

Double matte it over the boarder with the top matte the same color as the boarder and the under matte a silvery grey.

 

 

[Mac Man]

I'd go with a black. Your pic gradually gets darker as you move closer to the outer edge, so seems like a good match to me.

[cheetah]

I think the artist has already given you your mat colors with the yellow-orange band around the drawing and the orange-brown outer border. Select those two colors and have the mats cut to cover those areas on the print.

 

I think black and orange will make it a little too much halloweenie.
