So I bought some Byrne X-Men off Ebay...

I bought a run of about 30 Byrne X-Men off ebay a few months ago. Really cherry books, I was very pleased when I got them in the mail. I sent off the 20 that I felt were 9.6s. I never grade anything 9.8 because I don't want to be disappointed if it doesn't get a 9.8 but I genuinely felt a few of these 20 had a shot at 9.8. I just got the grades from CGC and the results were a pleasant surprise

Thanks. Ebay is a total crapshoot and this is definitely not indicative of what I usually get from Ebay but once in a while you get lucky.

got to love it when things work out sure you got a few 9.4s which in the long run is not all that bad depending on the books but hey you got some 9.8s in there as well

Tell me about it. That's a legitimately tough book in 9.8. I'm happy with a 9.6 though.
