WRT to Nerf and above. This place suffers from too much oppression, both self inflicted and admin inflicted and it tends to make its presence known at some points over time as a result.

 

The political discussion ban is a perfect example.

Its unnatural to have a vacuum of discussion on the subject anywhere on the internet and only leads to conflict on other subjects between posters where there is a ban. I can see the reason why its a bad subject on a daily basis but there are some days when it is relevant.

What I would propose is that there should be a political discussion day proclaimed (or two) and the proposed day or days should be the day before the US election vote and the day of the vote to discuss the results.
