Sad part is that two of the "variants" are of artwork originally used for the Liberty Annual 2010.

I am not sure if WD 100 was the exact tipping point but it may be safe to say that the comic has officially jumped the shark by now.

 

Hopefully the storytelling in the next arc can support all of the hype.

speculator wise, sure. collector wise, not really, as all the earlier issues are still strongly sought after. story wise, the buzz has felt stronger than it has in a while.
