I wasn't collecting WD then but my guess is #2 had the lowest print run and that's why they decided to do a second print run due to increasing demand. I could be wrong though.

Just used up my last one for a Charlie Adlard sketch and would like to get some more to have in stock.

Just received TWD #8 and #11 CGC 9.8 that I ordered from some guy on the bay... Arrived in bubble mailers... Cracked of course....

 

Any thoughts on what I should do? It is $65 bucks round trip for the re-holder and I am not really interested in returning the books.

Take pics, show him and ask for a partial refund to cover them being re-cased

I am still a little ways out from receiving this back (being subbed to CGC at ECCC) but once I get it in I will post pics.

Luckily the seller was reasonable. He gave me the 65 bucks to medium flat rate them to CGC and to pay the invoice for re-holder. Still... bubble mailer?! Apparently he had his girlfriend mail them out on his behalf.

This seems to be way too common anymore from eBay for a seller to blame someone else for poor shipping. By gf the seller really meant his mommy mailed them out for him that day.
