maybe i suffer from having read the book for the first time last year. maybe if i had read it monthly for the last 10 years i would feel differently.

 

i see nothing wrong with the book post-48. sure the art could be better, but that could be said about any comic book that is released once a month.

If I’m not mistaken, Ryan Ottley has been on Invincible nearly as long and maintains a near monthly schedule with Cory Walker providing the occasional fill-in.

 

He produces consistently great art and it likely reflects the effort he puts in.

 

I am not bashing Mr. Adlard as he’s a great artist capable of great work. Look to his early WD work and omnibus covers for evidence of that.

 

It just seems as if he’s resting on his laurels somewhat.

I said near monthly because I regularly check Diamond’s shipping list and it seems to come out pretty consistently.

Pretty interesting that guy who won has 100% bid activity with seller and seller has the books listed individually for auctions ending tomorrow using same pictures. (you can tell by 3rd picture of the #1 of the top left corner imperfection).
