For anyone that appreciates good behind-the-scenes stuff when it comes to art-production like I do -

I love my most recent pick-up of a page from issue 115:

http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=1063055&GSub=128557

Charlie decided to do something weird:

http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=1063056&GSub=128557

Strangely Stefano and Charlie did pages 18 and 19 on 3 separate pages, and as a result, I got a panel from the page on 18 along with the panel from 19:

http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=1063053&GSub=128557

I'm not complaining - thats my favorite panel from page 18 -

I also got Charlie's pencils, which are actually pretty tight:

Hope you guys liked it too :)

That sounds about right. I would guess, based on the raw prices, that the 115 Midnight B&W variant will follow the price path of the #100 sketch cover variant, as opposed to following the Comixology Variant, Lucille Variant, of Red Foil Variant.

Follow TBP's advice: wait to buy it, because it will get cheaper. I would say this advice falls true for any WD variants after and including 80. Any variants before that still seem tough to find at a good price.

I generally agree though #50 2nd print isn't that hard to find if you are patient. 75 SDCC is pretty easy too.

My rankings from hardest to easiest and I'm including 2nd prints as "variants."

2

33

50 Larson

34

7

8

75 Ultimate

75 #1 homage

75 SDCC

50 2nd print

I wasn't even thinking about second prints. Without a doubt, on of the hardest books to find in any grade is #2 2nd print, let alone seeing one in 9.8 either graded or raw. I see way more 33 2nds and 35 errors. 34 2nd print I dont see come up very often, and I could see that issue exploding in value. Most raws I see of the issue are in garbage shape. 7 and 8 are relatively easy to come by, too, but still expensive.

I would say the toughest one is definitely #2 2nd print. #78 LBCC should be on that list too, maybe right after 50 Larsen.

Oh right, I forgot about 78 LBCC. Funny because it was pretty prolific there for a while but seems to be pretty scarce.

35 error is, to me and has always been, a Hallmark Holiday type of thing. No one would really care unless someone else marketed the mess out of it and now people REALLY care ala Grandparents Day, Employee Appreciation Day, yadda yadda...

Did Mike make that for you?

Don't know she got it off a site called etsy or something

Jerry on the boards here, had one made. So I asked him where he got that and he told me his friend Mike makes them. So I got the info from Jerry and contacted Mike, and he made me on too. It's 48"x 24" Yours is sweet too!!

Thanks man. But still most of these variants aren't listed as to how many are printed. If only we knew. But we don't. So sometimes we have to speculate on them. Maybe I'm wrong here, or I just don't research enough. My B

Like the 1 per store 115 B&W. If 900 (which I heard on here) LCS participated then we are to assume that only 900 were printed. But I know for a fact that 1 of the LCS was right here in West Palm Beach Florida, they were on the website for participating stores. When I called them to confirm if they were, they said no they were not. So now we are down to 899? (shrug)
