DESERT WIND COMICS IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE A SIGNING WITH JOHN ROMITA JR.

 

John Romita Jr. will be making an appearance in Las Vegas, NV. the weekend of June 13th-15th. He has agreed to give Desert Wind Comics time to sign books. Unfortuantely, he will not have time for sketching but has agreed to sign a limited number of books. You can get your books signed by comic legend John Romita Jr. and then graded and authenticated by Certified Guaranty Company (CGC) with the prestigious Signature Series label.

 

We have a limited number of spots open for this signing. You can contact us by e-mail at desertwindcomics@hotmail.com with a list of books you would like to submit by NO LATER than Sunday, June 1st. A response will be sent to you by Monday, June 2nd confirming your order. The books MUST be in our office by no later than Monday, June 9th. (Please include in your details whether your books have already been graded and encapsulated by CGC.) Because of the number of books that will be signed, unfortunately we cannot accommodate any special signing request such as ink color or position of signature. The cost listed below includes the signing fee, CGC grading, our witness fee, prep of the book(s) for signing in special signing bags. The books will then be transported to Wizard World Chicago and submitted to CGC at that time. Please note that CGC will be offering ONSITE GRADING in Chicago, so if you would like your signed book from John graded ONSITE, an extra $10 fee will be charged and then your book will be mailed to you from Chicago.

 

The price listed below does NOT include any shipping/handling/insurance fees from CGC, which will be quoted based on the number and value of books in your order.

 

The pricing for the different tiers are:

 

Modern........$35.00 1975-Present, Max value $200

Economy.....$45.00 any year, Max value $250

Standard......$65.00 any year, Max value $1000

Express.......$95.00 any year, Max value $4000

Walk-Thru....(quoted based on value of book) Value in excess of $4000

Does this mean he has canceled Adventurecon as the guest of honor?

 

Thanks for the heads up on that. Calls are being made now to get it straightened out. Either way, someone, somewhere will have to change something. John is scheduled to be involved in the Las Vegas Premiere of the HULK movie coming out that weekend. SO he will be here for more then just a signing.

 

And for those of you wondering. This signing was confirmed by John himself in an e-mail to me earlier today.

Did JRJR 100% confirm that he canceled adventurecon that he has been listed on for months? I can get no confirmation from the promotor. The fact he is scheduled for sat and sunday, perhaps his Las Vegas gig is one day?

Oh man.. I am sorry. Well if you get in your car now and start driving, you can make it in time for the Hulk screening tomorrow. It starts at 7:30 pm at Branden Theaters. And you would have plenty of time to get to the signing on Saturday. Sharon said she would personally introduce you to John. All kidding aside, I am really sorry I misserd your last e-mail. Next e-mail me again and hit me over the head.

Hehe, thanks a lot man. Unfortunately it's too late for me to come down now, though I could make it! Next time I'll definitely be there. Take lots of pics and if you can possible get me a sketch on the Fallen Son I sent you for NYCC I'd love you forever (like I do Jon Jesper)! lol
