DC Tarzan run

I was a big Edgar Rice Burroughs fan as a kid in the 70's and loved the DC Tarzan stuff. The DC run of Tarzan that ran from 207 to 258 was very good, especially the Joe Kubert issues. None of the covers had word ballons, and all were just beautiful work from Joe.

 

Fast forward to the late 80's and I get a chance to buy an original owner run of the series from a guy who's collection never gained pedigree status, but was called the Monterey collection by dealers and collectors later on.

 

So I bought this beautful UNREAD set from him, and put them in mylars, never even opening a single issue. I look at them once in awhile and just marvel at how beautiful they are. Glowing color and blazing white pages and back covers.

 

So I am in the middle of a project to scan my entire collection of silver and bronze age books, and fellow board member Inaflash says I should scan and post this set.

 

So here is a unread, gorgeous set of books that for the most part don't excite alot of people, but take a look at these beauties.
