Every once in awhile at work i'll be scanning medical journals into our database and a subject will catch my eye, then 10 minutes later I realized i've stopped working completely. Considering the job CGC graders have and the fact that many people submit rare, expensive comics and the graders are more likely than not comic freaks do you think this ever happens?

I suspect after a while the graders must get jaded but every once in a while a comic must come down the pipe that is so amazing the place comes to a stop.

I would bet that this NEVER happens - they don't have the time to wander off...

I would bet that it has to happen, but not often. These poeple love comics too, and to have the kind of opportunities that they must get, I think it would be impossible not to ever become tempeted.

I'm sure they are jaded after grading the 850th copy of Hulk 181...

 

It would probably take a book akin to a 8.5 or 9.0 Action #1 to get their attention...
