Ricksneatstuff
I can tell you I have no less than 8 people who have asked for my CL 25, should I upgrade and sell my undercopy. I have been asked about that book 3 times in the last week. I have tried hard to pry better copies out of the hands of the lovely boardies here through cash or cash/trade combos Just ain't happening and I cannot blame you all. Now, GCE 12- finally picked up a copy at a premium- I don't get as many requests about it but I think it is highly prized and apparently more scarce. I prefer CL 25 myself. The sneaky way around this was to keep up the numbering of an existing title, and just claim the name of the book was being changed. EC did it routinely. I've mentioned it before, but my favorite example is Moon Girl and the Prince becoming Moon Girl becoming Moon Girl Fights Crime becoming A Moon, a Girl, ... Romance! The weirdest thing is starting a romance book by changing the title of the Moon Girl series. I'm sure Gaines had a few laughs over that one. Sorry; yes probably high side of mid-grade due to a little Nick at top of back cover, but presents slightly higher than overall technical from the front. I will try to reshoot it. 29dukedog

29dukedog
An amazing copy, one of the best I've seen. Plan to have it graded? If so, I think you might just have 2nd in the census... and who knows, if the grade gets finalized on a Friday... I was compelled to slab it pretty much right away after buying it in '07. It looked too good to be true, and I wanted to be certain it had no resto. In other cases, like my 25, I know for a fact; the book came from a local store owner/friend who'd just bought an original owner collection that came with a detailed history. I'm not worried about resto on the 25, so slabbing can wait. Edited January 14, 2018 by 29dukedog exposition
