Do you sub Pedigree books with their paperwork?

I am worried about sending the certificates in with the books and not getting them back.What should I do?

I've never submitted a raw pedigree but I would call CGC and ask if they will accept a photocopy of the certificate or papers.

I've submitted some books that came with certs. If you asked CGC to mail them back, they will.

That was not my experience. I sent in some certs and CGC did not send them back to me. They also missed marking one of the books as pedigreed in a latter submission (they offered to fix that for me though, if I ever get around to mailing it back).

 

I would suggest making a copy of the certificates. This way, you know you are safe. It covered me on my second round of pedigree submissions.

They only time I sent in a Pedigree cert, CGC returned it about four months later in an envelope. Claimed they lost it for awhile.

They have always sent the certs back to me (including certs for pedigrees that they don't recognize, such as Bookery)

For the Boston pedigree, I heard that you just include the extra $5 in a small envelope addressed to Borock, and he'll take care of it.
