I stumbled across this on ebay and thought this was interesting. What did these come in cracker jacks? lol

Vending machines I believe. And there are about 5 others...Spidey, Cap America, Thor, etc...

When I became a member of the MMMS back in the 60's, I received a set of 6.

A few years back there was a sale for a couple hundred of these, I can't imagine them being all that rare but still a nice collectible for the MMMS collector.

They turn up on ebay often, usually sell in the $15.00 to $20.00 range each, or there abouts.

 

The Spider-man one is of interest in that it has the first recorded Marvel/DC crossover ever.

 

There was a collectibles guide to the Merry marvel Marching Society and all of their 1960's material, very informative.

I think it was coppercomics, the poster formerly known as hellblazer.

 

His post prompted a thread about CGC needing a product line of promotional merchandise & a gift shop. I think that was Doc's thread.
