And as for Marvel, I've NEVER been remotely interested and never will be. I've been into DCs since I was six years old, and had over two thirds by the early eighties, then gave up for seventeen years.

Answering questions. Yes I have every DC apart form those 258 listed right up to date, except for a separate list of free giveaway and promotional items I still need.

I automatically get each and every single new DC as they come out from Paul Sassienie of Comic Biz in London. I have every issue right up to this week - Action 809.

 

I do have a lot of old Harveys and Walt Disney comics but not specifically collect them.

 

My most wanted comic is Double Action 2, and a copy or xerox of the ashcan of Double Action 1.

 

And for those interested, here's the promotional stuff I still need. I haven't tried as hard as the main released stuff until recently, but I'm really searching for these now......

Christine Farrell is the woman you're talking about. But it was Buzzy 70, not 45. And her collection is incomplete. For instance, she'd never heard of the Fat and Slat Joke book, nor Teen Beat and Teen Beam.

 

I started seriously in 1973 aged eighteen, but my first comic was Justice League 7, "The Cosmic Fun House" when I was six years old.

 

I had no idea New Adventure 26 was THAT rare. I guessed the Big Book Of Fun Comics was gonna present a problem though. But Paul levitz himself told me I'd have trouble with Sugar and Spike 2, and yet I found two copies.
