The Eisner Awards might carry the most weight in America. Maybe the Eagle Awards do in Europe.

 

Other well-known awards in the comics industry are:

 

Bill Finger Award

Ignatz Awards

Inkpot Awards

Russ Manning Award

 

 

I do think that in Europe, the Alph-Art awards given at Angouleme are the most prestigeous. It's probably the biggest International Comic event in Europe.

P.S. The name Alph-Art comes from the title of the last & unfinished Tintin.
