Top 10 group shot...

I think the Shock SuspenStories is a REALLY undervalued book - the Suspense 3 is worth twelve zillion dollars, and the Shock is the Klan menacing a woman as well, and you can find it relatively cheap.

Here's mine. It was really hard to pick 10.

I detect a theme, a common thread to the selection of each of these books. If I can just figure out what it is. :pullhair:

Great looking set, FD! :cloud9:

Probably because you CAN find the Shock, whereas the Suspense is hard to find. If the Suspense were a relatively common book, its price would be a fraction of what it currently goes for.

And I agree that the Shock cover is great.

I agree too. Wally Wood was a master! I loved him when I was simply a SA Daredevil reader and was thrilled to find an entirely new body of work in pre SA books.

And he could draw curvy brunettes like nobody else!

I was collecting ECs in the late 90s and got about 40 or 50 of them. After a while I got tired/distracted and sold them all - except the Shock SuspenStories 6. That's just an uber-cool book and I couldn't go without one in my collection. Solid choice, Donut.

Thanks guys...

After thinking about it, most of these books have excellent interior stories.... Cap 74, Weird Mysteries 5, Master 27, AA 61. I also included a sentimental favorite... Haunted Thrills 6, which has one of my favorite Farrell stories.
