Mostly drawn with a pencil or Sharpie then scanned into Photoshop and colored. I love to draw with Sharpies. The Sepia toned pictures are from an old sketch book I did when I was a young buck. Dick Pontoon Posted October 28, 2013 Share Posted October 28, 2013 In addition to the traditional carving of pumpkins, every year for Halloween my son and I embark on an art project. In the past we’ve made a paper mache skull with flashing red eyes, a ghost for the yard and this year a wooden standup Frankenstein for the yard. I handled the detail work and let Lil Pont work on the large areas. Had we not run short on time, I would have extended the legs and right elbow; maybe next year. We also intended to make it 2-sided. Regardless, I’m pretty proud of how it came out especially since I haven’t done any oil painting in about 25 years. And with those new-fangled water soluable oil paints, I didn’t have to worry about my boy walking away with a Granito face.
