I would venture a guess at 9.0 mostly due to the more pronounced stress lines around the staples on the back cover. Nice book overall and the front cover would easily be a 9.2 if not dragged down by the back. (thumbs u

This scan is huge, those are not that big of spine breaks, 9.2 to 9.4 slim chance.

Well, perhaps I'm a bit rougher than I need be... was feelin' a 8.5-9.0 at best.

 

Maybe it's simply the impression of "bad" color breaks against such a dark cover?

 

Make no mistake, it's a solid copy!
