i don't know what you guys are talking about, the area right around spidey's chest/waist area looks like something straight out of a VG/Fine copy, as do many of the pages as well as the "MA" in Amazing.

 

If you break the cover up into 500 equal sized square sectors, my guess is that at least 50% of them would qualify as VG/Fine sectors.

The point at which an AF 15 would lose "all" value would be when the ashes blow away after the fire goes out IMHO.
