It's way to early to talk about SDCC '09......

If you use an AAA auto club card, you may still be able to get a discount on a chain hotel on the outskirts of San Diego during Comic-con week else expect bloody high quotes of $400/night even at the new deluxe 1,200 room Hilton Bayfront east of the convention site.

Yes. I don't know anything definite but I have heard things about a hotel whos name I can't remember being brought as a possible location.
