USPS Marvel 1st Day of Issue

A few of these appeared at my post office this week. I see somebody selling them on ebay for $50 a pop. At the post office the price s $20 I think. These were issued back in 2007 so why the delay? It is cool color envelope with 1st day of issue canceled stamp under a nice print. The set is nicely matted.

 

The ones at the post office have a cool canceled stamp of Spider-man which the one below does not. Is this canceled stamp from San Diego?

 

Should I be picking these up?

2 - BTW, could be the canceled stamp from SD. It was debuted there a couple of years ago.
