A Note for Witnesses about signings...

As more and more Witnesses are pursuing private signings, or seeking to attend non-CGC signings and events (basically events where CGC is not set up), the occasional thread has popped up from Witnesses looking for interest in private signings that they are in the process of setting up.

 

In fairness to those who have recently had threads pulled in the past --- and while we appreciate the need to see if there is significant interest in the customer-base --- it is the policy of these boards that only DEFINITE signing opportunities APPROVED by CGC will be allowed to be posted by CGC Witnesses.

 

Certainly non-Witnesses can continue to post threads asking if Witnesses will be attending upcoming events..

How will a witness gauge interest in a particular creator. Are we just supposed to fly in the dark.

What we're saying is don't announce something that isn't definite.

 

If you wanted to ask if anyone was interested in, say, Bob Wiacek (just an example), and you made it clear you had no deal in place and no definite plans and you weren't looking for books... that you were just asking... then I guess it wouldn't be a problem.
