There were ashcans for the first 3 Shadowhawk comics IIRC (that first mini had 4 issues)

 

I've got the first 2, not a big Shadowhawk fan so I passed on a copy of the 3rd ashcan

 

I was mistaken about no ashcan for #4- Jim just said on his forum:

 

"There was also an ashcan for issue 3 (with two different colored covers as I recall) and one for #4 (which was 8 1/2 x 11) if memory serves there were only about 100 of these."
