I remember buying those books off the rack. I used to love watching The Electric Company on PBS just for the 5 minute skit with Spidey. It was the closest we had to having a live action Marvel hero on TV at the time.

 

Ah, the '70s had no fond memories for me other than the comics I used to buy.

I wanted to bid on that but was 99% sure it would just drive it up on you since you've been snagging all my #1's lately. I would have been 100% sure you were bidding except it wasn't one of my beloved Peds so i had a tiny little sliver of doubt

You think my wife told me she was buying a $300 freaking WATER BOTTLE ( yes, a $300 water bottle!!! ) for her tri bike?!? Hell no! I had to research it to find out. If she wants to dig thru my comic room and then research what a 9.8 Avengers 57 costs, great for her. Until then though, it cost me "like $50"
