Does the grade really matter?

He was actually very nice, I'm glad I met him... and you should be glad you subbed that book because he said this was his last convention. He said as soon as he arrived at the con, he felt like going home

Danny, I don't think you're too dissimilar from many of the collectors here--seems like the low grade collectors like myself are more of the minority. By the way, did you get the gorgeous Lee sketch framed yet?

You can see from all these posts just how subjective all of this is. From an investment standpoint, it's a bit tricky to know how the market is going to value something. I've seen it be all over the place. For myself, grade, placement, and who the signer is, all contribute to the value of the book.
