The Marvel Mystery is off by a tad, as my #17 is seven and a half inches wide but #59 is only six and three quarters.

MM 51 is the last 'big, fat' book of the run.

I'm pretty sure All Winners 11 is smaller, 12 is large (medium?), and then they get smaller again with 13. My AW 11 is much smaller than my AW 12, wish I had a 10 to compare them to...anyone got one for sale/trade? :wishluck:

AW 10 is somewhat of a "common" Timely...well, not common, but I have seen it more than any other AW issue...there was a 6.0 that was on eBay a few days ago...I know Metro has a 6.0 on their site...

The size change was complete by fall of 1943. On some titles (Human Torch and Sub Mariner for instance) they went small, then big, then small again. Torch 15 is for sure the last big fat issue of that run. There is a six month gap between 15 and 16. But 16 is fairly big. 17 is puny. 18 is so skinny and has so few pages that for years I thought my copy was incomplete. Then 19 goes back up in both page count and book width.

Yes. AW #11 is definitely a small book and then #12 is larger and #13 is smaller again.
