How does Marvel justify cancelling Ultimate X-Men?

I gotta say I'm not surprised.

 

A couple yrs ago I started reading the trades and got to number 7 or so before it became far too horrible for me.

 

Writing as bad as the 616 stories.

 

So to find out they eventually cancelled it, no, not surprising.

 

Now if only they'd do the same to some of the 616 X-Men titles as well.

However, Ultimate FF was canceled and also ends in February.

 

 

 

I've been very impressed with USM. I'm always keeping an eye out for the next trade to come out!

Not sure if it's a "spin-off" but there's a new series out next year called "Ultimate Avengers" written by Mark Millar and some rotating team of artists on each arc.

 

The UXM and UFF is being cancelled to streamline the Ultimate Universe or so they say.

Nope, after I stopped buying Marvel comics early this year I've not had a single complaint about them. :applause:
