No, it isn't the Detective cover I am looking for, but it is pretty darn close.

 

Many consider this Norm's best cover during his long run as artist for Batman and Detective. It is definiely one of my favorite. I just got it in hand so I will see about getting a better scan up soon, but for now:

Congratulations.

I saw this on ebay 2 weeks ago with a 3K opening bid and a 3.5K buy it now price.

I thought the seller's asking price was reasonable considering this is the "debut" of Robin # 3, Tim Drake. I was shocked that it didn't sell considering a few collectors have this on their list as a grail type item.

 

Perhaps with the holiday season or state of the economy no one pulled the trigger.

Their loss is your gain so once again, congratulations.
