What's the best book you NEVER read?

Any of the early Alan Moore,..I've been meaning to read The Watchmen but never get the chance.

I haven't read Y The Last Man.

 

I read Watchmen when I was a juvenile, and pretended to "get it" because everyone said it was so good. I haven't read it as an adult.

This thread actually got me off my butt and over to Amazon to order one TPB I've been wanting to read:

 

The Golden Age

Is that the one where all the old All-Stars take on the Ultra-Humanite and it ends in some type of brutal apocalyptic fight? I've always wanted to read that one..

I highly recommend that you both (and anyone else who hasn't read it) read The Golden Age (yes Minutekev that's the one with the Golden Age JSA characters set in the 1950's by James Robinson and Paul Smith). Excellent stuff.

Now that we've shifted gears (at least momentarily) to GA, I'll nominate two. I think they're the only two Barks duck stories that I've never read:

- Donald Duck in Darkest Africa (the March of Comics issue that was CGGed recently)

 

- Donald Duck and the Atom Bomb (the Wheaties premium in which the ducks are exposed to radioactive fallout and their feathers start falling out)

 

I know the second one was never reprinted per Disney proclamation, not sure about the first one...?
