Turtle
I'm not sure if it technically counts as a 2nd print or a collection. I know it reprints the Michaelangelo 1-shot but it also adds some extra stuff. I'm currently working on a project to help update the CGC labels for TMNT books. This one seems to be missing Eastman and Laird's contributions. It'll get fixed eventually.
groovyedwin
Took pictures and have them posted at the below location: http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryRoom.asp?GSub=107614 More Info: 1) four button set - 144/1000 2) original fanclub package (opened, completed, unused) (envelope, bandana, comic, sticker, membership card, letter) 3) an early newletter (first two issues of Chaso Chronicles - subsequent mailings that are the rest of the original fanclub package) 4) original hardback collection with a dustjacket - 803/1000 5) dark horse miniatures (#142, set 2, set 3, and set 6) - #142 - 4 turtles - set 2 - Splinter, Shredder, and Mousers - set 3 - Fugitoid, Jones, and Tricerton - set 6 - 4 turtles with energy weapons Items 2 and 3 are really just one item which is the original fanclub package. Should have been more specific on the miniatures since there were 7+ sets of 25mm minis issued. I only have the four listed and not the others. Yes I am interesting in selling everyhting. cyberjad
Thanks to Danny I received in the mail today my very own set of Gobbledygooks Straight from the collection of Kevin Eastman, signed by both him and Peter Laird , along with turtle sketches by both. Additionally, the set is complete with a signed letter of authenticity from Eastman. I am ecstatic to have not only a super rare set of Gobbledygooks, the only set that where both file copies and Signed/Sketched by both Eastman and Laird. THANK YOU DANNY! Turtle
I'm assembling another submission for grading to try to further my registry set. If all goes well, this one should round out most of the empty spots in my registry in high-grade. However, there are a few that are seemingly tough to find even with some diligent searching. My recent WTB post went unanswered, so I figured I'd try here. If anyone has any copies of TMNT Vol. 1, #'s: 5 (2nd print) 14 21 28 57 in anything 9.4 or better, PLEASE let me know. #21 would complete my Return to New York Storyline #57 would complete my City at War Storyline (once the rest of the subs are graded)
TMNT
You're very welcome Jad! (thumbs u I'm glad your books made it safe and sound. And in case anybody is wondering, I have no more sets to sale. I have my own personal set remaining and those are keepers. And nice to know they are signed by Peter...Laid? Yep, you know Pete doesn't make appearances anymore but fortunately his second cousin was more than willing to sign anything I wanted.
cyberjad
Let's go ahead and make that thread for sure! I believe there are four of us (plus that one for sale) on the boards, which is a pretty amazing percent of the population of these books. But it would be interesting to see if we could get more out of the woodwork. Edited December 16, 2010 by cyberjad
