Just finished some excellent BBC shows via netflix: Sherlock and Silk.

Any recommendations?

Not sure these series are on Netflix, but seek them out - The Fall (featuring Gillian Anderson playing an English police detective in Belfast on the trail of a serial killer - best Brit series of the year, imo), Peaky Blinders (Brit attempt to do Boardwalk Empire - not as good, but definitely worth a look - stars Cillian Murphy, set in 1920s Birmingham, subtitles required!), Happy Valley (great series, also about a woman police officer, on the trail of a gang of kidnappers) Broadchurch, and The Shadow Line (another terrific series about corruption and conspiracy in the police) and Line Of Duty.

These are the best series I can remember from Britland over the last several years, nearly all from the BBC.

Gillian Anderson is English in The Fall?

Indeed - very pukka English accent.

Jeez - must be why it's so bad.

You didn't like the series?

Clichéd nonsense.
