TDK re-released ......... studio desperate for TDK to hit $1 billion

TDK was stuck at $998 million in worldwide box office. It looked grim to hit $1 billion, with the film on only 6 screens in the USA last week.

 

But last weekend it was back on 350 screens and did $600,000+ in box office.

 

Looks like they will find a way to make it to $1 billion, one way or another.

It is almost unprecented for a movie to die out to 6 screens doing less than $500 in total business one day last week. And then all of a sudden it is on 350 screens again dong $650k for the weekend?

 

That's a crazy jump upwards.

 

I'm sure they did it so they could hit the $1 billion mark.

 

It worked so well they might roll it out again nationally again on 1000 screens during Oscar season to milk every last dollar out of it.

 

Now if only we could get that ROBIN spin-off movie
