New Vampirella Sketch from the Dallas Comic Con

[The Troll King]

As some of you know. I only get sketches of one character, Vampirella.

 

When you get a piece like this, sometimes you have to wonder if you should even bother getting any more sketches of the same character because who's going to top this?!

That scan doesn't do it justice. Mark is using a titanium white ink to highlight his pieces these days and it makes the piece jump off the page.

 

BTW Dice, I showed Mark that Atlas cover you sent me a few years ago. He almost threw up.

Great sketch, you're very lucky ... especially when you factor in how many sketches Mark usually gets done in a show!

Actually he was talking about his composition. Chaykin was sitting next to him and said, "It's not that bad. There are worse things to hate yourself over."

Well, I had colorist Chris Summers digitally color my Mark Brooks Vampirella.

Great Piece !!! What size paper did Mark use? I have a Red Sonja piece that he did for me a few years ago and it was on larger than 11 x 17 standard paper, a bit wider.
