Is it produced without the top staple?

However, there seems to be a staple hole visible, so I'm going to assume the staple was there, but has since departed. :(

 

This would pull a Green label, but I personally grade what's in front of my in its entirity. I couldn't go above the VG range, but given the quality of the book otherwise, I'd be at VG+ (4.5). (thumbs u
