Neil Gaiman's Coraline movie

Anyone see the previews for this stop-motion movie? It looks good, although I would have loved to see "American Gods" first.

Saw it yesterday with my wife, daughter (10) and my two sons (8 & 4) and everybody loved it !

 

The end of the movie was a bit scary for the youngest (he was on mommy's lap for the last 30 minutes) but he was happy that he got to see it along with his older brother and sister. My other son also said that it was a bit scary - but he was thrilled with it

 

Visually, it's superb. As for the story, it was a faithfull adaptation of the novel - so says my daughter. (I haven't read the novel yet)

 

All in all, I strongly recommend it.

Yeah, my girlfriend and I saw it today in 3-D. We both really enjoyed it a ton. I definitely recommend it to anyone who was curious about it!

Same here - saw it with my wife & our 7-year old on Friday. Beautifully done, and, unlike the usual 3D flicks, the 3D effect was very subtle and not at all gimmicky. Completely faithful to the book as well.
