Here's a sweet raw copy of Fantastic Four #14 I got at the LA con last Sunday. It's an 8.5 with ow/w pages IMO.

Looks nice! Is that a paper ripple through Sue Storms' shoulder? I always wonder whether CGC ever downgrades for those...greggy posted a scan of a CGC 9.8 once with several ripples longer than that one.

It is a printing crease/ripple. CGC may downgrade for that on a super-high-grade copy. Perhaps that 9.8 would have been a 9.9 or 10 if it was not there.

 

Some of my Mile High's had that on them and the grade did not seem to be lowered, they got 9.4's and 9.6's.
