OT: Selling & shipping to Singapore

I was wondering if any of you guys or gals have had any experience dealing with buyers from Singapore. And would you mind sharing your experience,good or bad?

Sold a set of autographed magician/illusionist photos there. No problems with shipping or positive eBay feedback.

Sold an ebay lot of Spideys to a buyer there maybe two years ago. Smooth sailing, no problems. I imagine postage rates are even higher now though.

I have had this guy after a video game of mine,never made the sale,did not seem worth it. Well now he is after a CGC book that is in auction,but he has changed his screen name and has 0 feedback. Just feels funny

 

And yes,the shipping seems fairly ridiculous.

Sold to a board member in Singapore. Shipping was about triple what I expected.

I refuse to sell to Singapore unless I know the buyer. There's a bunch of fraud coming out from there.

In 6 years of selling on ebay, I have been ripped off three times.

 

Twice from the UK and once from a guy in NY.

I think there is a boardie or two from Singapore... he refused to buy stuff from me because Canada Post was too expensive. Anyhow, I haven't heard any more or less fraud occurs when selling there.

Singapore is scary. Sold and bought there, no problems...but...it's definitely CYA.

Same with me. Bought and sold to Singapore several times with 0 problems.

 

But again, every time I see that the buyer's from Singapore.. it's not a good feeling as I've heard a lot of negative things. But all is gravy so far
