Thanks! I have a few more nice ones, but none this old. Neither I nor the seller had an idea on the grade when I got it, as I traded some issues of Rai direct for it. I just knew it was purty...

Seeing as how you are the lowest grade guess so far, what about the issue makes you think 8.5?

 

Again, there are no wrong answers... when I bought it, I immediately thought to myself "9.0, with a chance at 9.2"

9.0 sounds about right.

9.0. I see minor spine stress, minor wear at the top staple and a little corner wear - just enough to bring it down to a 9.0 but nothing significant to bring it down to a 8.5 unless the spine is rolling a tad.

Send me that book and I'm confident it will come back as a 9.2
