Sashimi is the raw fish itself. Sushi is the vinegared-rice served with other ingredients which don't necessarily have to be raw fish. :)

No, that is actually nigiri sushi. Sashimi is raw sliced fish served with dipping sauce(s), no rice-ball, and isn't really considered sushi. Rolled sushi is known as maki sushi (really makizushi) with "toppings" scattered over a bowl of rice is chirashi style sushi. In Japan, sushi refers to the rice, not the other ingredients.
