Thank you Gentlemen!! (worship)

 

There is no justice in this world and I'm at work on a thirteen

hour shift and my shift started with a nasty near miss accident

where we nearly dropped 2 x 20' containers down the hatch.

 

All this on my Birthday. :(

The driver forgot to switch his container head to handle 2 x 20's at a time

and we came so close to dropping them eighty feet back down the hatch.

Was this the container with the crystal meth? ????

 

It could have been (shrug) and since 9/11 we have to phone our head

office to inquire what's in a container and then your name goes against

that container incase drugs are found, or something goes missing from it

or the seal is broken. In December our Terminal Manager at our other

Container Terminal, Deltaport was fired for helping a Vietnamese crime

syndicate import heroin and guns. (tsk)

 

Not too bright considering he probably made 200 K a year and the place

is totally covered with cameras and he drank at a Longshoremen's bar

where I'm sure the Vancouver Waterfront Task Force has spies. doh!

 

 

 

Never a dull day down there.

Thank you all for the well wishes and being born on Feb.28th

didn't quite make me a leap year baby but it has made me stay

39 again for a few years now...amazing. hm:acclaim:

 

After a long sleep today zzz I realize how great of a Birthday I've

had so far and did my taxes on Thursday with some very good

news. :) Despite our lower volumes at work we had an excellent

year and I received a fiscal year end bonus yesterday and bought

or paid for a whack of funny books. (thumbs u

 

Thank you all for the awesome information I've picked up in

my two years since joining and before that my six months

lurking stage. More so I would like to thank all the awesome

sellers we are so blessed to have hang out here and all the

fantastic books I've bought from many of you. (worship) (worship)

It wasn't a bad week for comic receiving and my slow mail

person came through to deliver a few packages of sweet books

with some incredible books expected next week. (thumbs u

 

 

I knew this year was going to turn around for me and it's going

to be my best year ever. :headbang::takeit:

 

 

Sorry to those special members who receive some of my rambling

long winded PMs. :blahblah::sorry: Being one of the few female

members I really appreciate you guys putting up with me and some

of my corny posts and always asking sellers if paying on payday

will be okay. You guys are the greatest and thanks for all the

laughs every day I log on.

I'm late too Fay but it was MegaCon weekend and baby Gabriela turns 1 this week & we celebrated with a mob of children all day today.
