I had a couple books that I think where Batman that had suicide squad and the boss lady found out who Batman really was in it.

I like Deadshot. But Captain Boomerang is dead.

It makes sense if Supermax (the Green Arrow movie) ever makes it to the screen.

 

If you introduce the villains, it gives you an excuse to bring in the superheroes.... A la Justice League or even World's Finest (Superman and Batman)

 

Brave and the Bold is already a cartoon so they're trying to make more obscure DC characters more recognizable to the kids.

 

The only problem right now is that the title Suicide Squad will make people think that it's like the Magnificent Seven or the Dirty Dozen (all based on Seven Samurai.)

 

Or even Inglourious Basterds which comes out this year.
