Yes i know it's rough but i'm setting up my computer and scanner. I'm more interested in the opinions on the scans and any helpful hints?

Your scan size is perfect.The comic on the other hand is very rough.At this point 2.0 for a bronze age comic.Read and enjoy.

scans do look pretty good. I worked on my scans for weeks and finally got it right thanks to some hellp from these boards. file compression is good at 500KB but try sizing at about 1000x1400 resolution and you'll get rid of those fussy pixel patterns on the BC on dudes face. at least on my scanner this is what works.
