Complete mental insanity Ricky!!!! Not only do you have scorching high-grade copies of the two books in the house ad, but they just so happen to be Larson Pedigree copies!!!! (worship)    :applause:

Nice color strike on that copy and I dig the store stamp.

Thanks! I have a thing for that particular store stamp and try to buy them when I see them. I also have a Marvel Mystery 16 with that stamp and a few other titles.

This advertises MMC, I’m guessing around issue 11 since the characters are wondering if Subby will start to play nicer with the other kids

I almost fell over when I first discovered this!!! It was completely random in the very early 90s that I got a few pulps and a handful of pages from Captain America #6 from a guy who cleared out storage units. When I looked thru the Marvel Stories issue and saw that comic book page-like ad page, I couldn't believe it!!! I always liked the little Torch on the back of his uniform!!!

Still, the #46 is just jaw-dropping no matter what the grade as long as the cover image is there. So happy I was able to get this book from Dale.

#1 on my want list.  All I could probably afford is a pretty low grade copy, restored would be even better.  Fingers crossed.

I know we discussed this a month or so ago but today I had the opportunity to break out some Timely Red Circle pulps and snap some pics. I have earlier and later issues, but there seems to be a sweet spot (1940) for Red Circle pulps to carry advertisements for Timely Comics. Some of this was already posted, so forgive any duplication.

Sky Devils Feb 1940, on the stands next to Marvel Mystery #4 and Daring Mystery #2!!! A lot of ads (looks to be 5) in this one, for both comics!
