Finally got somewhat better scans of the 49 & 51 from the same sorta washed-out scanner. The 50 is from Ricky's Glossinator scanner (thumbs u My Timely trio

It does look a little like a mayo stain.

 

Seriously, it isn't much of a stretch thinking every GA Timely collector would dearly love to have a copy with that defect.

 

So, does that mean a complete MM collection would need both an Oct. and Nov. copy?

For me yes but then there is always the issue of cost.

no. now, if you want a run of mm AND the one-shot mc, then i would say...no.
