These things seem to falling out of the sky and crawling out of the woodwork. I don't think they're nearly as scarce as many may tend to believe. Sure it's the most important comic book there is, but I think 90k for a 1.8 is silly. I can think of a dozen other books that I would rather have in that price range.

A dozen other books in 1.8 for $90k that you would rather have???

Or just a dozen other books in any grade you would rather have for $90k?

Either way, I would still like to see your list of 12 other books you would rather spend $90k on.

Who owns this book?

that is apparently a topic for discussion... I have "confirmation" from a friend and boardie that he doesn't own it any longer (he as in Daniel Kramer)...but, I have heard from multiple other sources he still does...

Anyone have a scan of Nic Cage's stolen copy?

I always thought he sold all his books through Heritage a few years ago.

He still has comics?

Nick Cage had a V.F Action 1 and a 4.5 Action 1.

The V.F was the copy that was stolen from his home[the story can be found on these boards as told by Stephen Fishler] The 4.5 copy was the copy sold by Heritage about 7 years back for some 86k. It was a 4.5 with white/off white pages and a gorgious front cover. It was the back cover the dropped the grade to 4.5 just to give you a little backround on it.

I dont think 3 recent unrestored copies comming out of the woodwork within the last year implies that Action 1 isnt scarce[[which it certainly is.]] Consider how many copies have come out in the LAST 10 YEARS. Certainly a long range look will give you a better perspective as to it scarcity. Tec 27 and Marvel 1 have all had multiple copies come out in very short periods of time and have than dried up and dissapeared and they are certainly scarce too. I also want to ad that many people confuse the word scarce with rarity.

Action1,Tec 27 and Marvel 1 are not rare, they are scarce. They are only rare in unrestored midgrade and higher.

Now if you want to talk about books falling out of the sky and woodwork lets talk AF15

Good points here. I certainly don't think 3 copies of Action 1 being offered by Metro in the past 3 months qualifies as "flooding" the market--but, with an Action 1, yes, maybe that is flooding the market lol AF15's do seem like they are falling. like manna, out of the sky...
